Meet Dr. Tracy

Welcome to our practice! I’m Dr. Tracy, and I was born to be a dentist because I love meeting new people and having the opportunity to interact in their lives. I enjoy making people feel better about themselves and allowing them to live and eat without discomfort. A healthy smile is important for self-esteem and makes a real difference in people’s lives.

Prior to becoming a dentist, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Washington State University in 1973. After graduation, I moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington School of Dentistry. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery in June of 1977. It is my goal to improve the lives of others by providing the best possible dental care for them so that they can be healthier physically and enjoy an improved sense of self-confidence and happiness.

I know that in order to provide the best services for my patients, I must always educate myself on the newest advances in dental technology and procedures. For more than 40 years, I have continued my dental education with continuing education courses and seminars through Washington State Dental Association and through the University of Washington to keep up with new technologies and techniques. I have completed advanced coursework in dental implants at Nobel Biocare, Yorba Linda, CA, and in oral photography. I am also active in study groups which research the latest developments in dentistry.

I am a member of several professional dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association and the University of Washington Dental Alumni Association.

I enjoy being active in my patients’ lives and watching them grow. My patients become a part of our dental family. I love that they feel comfortable with our atmosphere. We welcome new patients to our dental family. You will feel right at home. We like to share stories and jokes. We also love to keep up to date on you and your achievements.

My wife and son have both worked in my office. My wife, Virginia, is a designer and enjoys traveling. My son, David, graduated from the University of Washington and Wayne State University School of Medicine. Since completing his residency at Case Western Reserve, he is now an emergency room physician at The Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. I have a very active and energetic golden retriever, Hector, and cat, Gatta, who keep us very busy at home. When not at my practice, I enjoy golfing, fishing and hiking, traveling and reading history. I am a past president of Bellevue West Little League Association and enjoy keeping up on my patients’ sport activities.
